Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
